The Liu Gang Floppy Ear Rabbit

I am dedicating this “altered island” image in a “black water” lake to Liu Gang the owner of the controversial 1418 map. Liu Gang received his Bachelor of Laws from Peking University in 1983. He was admitted to the Chinese bar in 1986 and attained the requisite qualification to work in the area of securities law in 1993. In 1989, Mr. Liu was selected by the Ministry of Justice to travel to London and Hong Kong and work with several English law firms as a visiting attorney under the auspices of a training program sponsored by the British Law Society.

Mr. Liu’s areas of practice include foreign investment, corporate finance, securities and international trade. His working languages are Chinese and English. He is one of the founders of the firm Commerce and Finance Law Offices.

When I first saw this image I thought it was intended to be a duck or swan floating on the lake. However, I couldn’t make sense out of the hole in the center of the island. It just didn’t fit with the duck or swan. Then a friend of mine said “that’s a rabbit!” Then it all made sense. The hole is the rabbit’s eye. Eyes are the most important feature in this High Altitude Art. I knew that before but I just didn’t make the connection. A part of the rabbit’s floppy left ear has deteriorated and has apparently fallen into the lake.

Please review the Liu Gang Floppy Ear Rabbit and let me know what you think.
